First Post for the HoosierEddie Blogspot:
This is to help family members who want to keep up with the "Empty Nesters" in Indiana. We are still adjusting to no kids in the house. Fortunately, DD is close enough she comes home to keep us company and visit the washing machine. Some home baked treat always manages to find its way into the stuff that goes back to the dorm. With cell phones and close proximity... I've yet to send her an official package. (What a bad mom!)
As a fitting farewell to February, I have carefully checked the house and made sure all the Christmas decorations are packed away. That includes the wreath that graced the garage, (hey... it had blue and white ribbon and white roses with silver tips...and it has either been too cold, too windy, too wet, too icy.... you name it... to climb up the ladder and remove it). The candle snowmen and pine trees that were on the fridge have also been tucked into a box. I also removed the Valentine's day decorations and spent the day putting up St. Patrick's day decorations. Now we are ready for SPRING.
